Pretty much describing the state of being right now.

Still in Madrid, so backstory is that i get to stay at Claudia's parents house to which i am extreme grateful.

I could stay in the van but i have to say that a normal kitchen, shower and people to talk to, makes it so much more pleasant.. Don't get me wrong though, i am all about adventuring.

This is the view right outside the house, lovely smaller side of town and not the very busy city center.

And even though the weather looks like this, it still meant going to visit the city and see all the things that it has to offer.

Also on a side note, i took my van to a mechanic so he could give it a check and then i can continue to where ever i might find the need to go to.. And also because it was overheating so want to be on the safe side and have someone check all that.

Some randomness from all around the city.

These pics are obviously from a couple different days as i was waiting to hear from the mehanic.

And well, got the call to go and get my car.

Went there with Mario and Pilar (Claudia's parents) as they were anyway heading close to there so got a ride and also the mechanic is their acquitance so they could chat with him.

Anyways, hop in my car and the owner of the garage hops besides me so we can take a small test drive, i start the van put it in first gear and it stalled. .. Was the usual thought of whoops, do i not know how to drive a car.. But then emerged the problem as i was unable to restart the van....

I tried a couple times but no life at all and so there was a mechanic that came to inspect what could be the problem. Mind you, the garage only refilled the cooling liquid and attached a hose that was a bit loose nothing more.

Soooo... After an hour of trying to fiddle with the van i was forced to just leave it to the garage so they could continue to diagnose the next day.

Pilar made some food back at the house which was delicious.

Very typical southern european style meat and accompaniments.

So.. Now it has been a couple days and they have not managed to find any reason as to why my van would not start .. Very frustrating and anxiety inducing but nothing i can really do about it. Just hoping it isn't anything major that would force me to abandon the van and fly back home.

All along i have the time so have been to the city to explore, went to see some contempory art exhibit

Did love the ballpit for adults hahah..

Also went to a museum of anthropology, was interesting and a good way to spend a couple hours.

I really don't know how these graffity art pieces fit with the anthropology but they looked nice anyways...

A real good way around the city is using the metro, and well, i did really use it to get all around switching from line to line... Great means of transport.

Not too crowded either. Necessity to wear masks inside though.

and to finish a couple random pics of the city and something that has come like a little bit of a theme; coffee and sandwitch

Otherwise, spending time at the house, to which i am again extremely grateful with this incident of not having my van.. Reading books, and on the computer. (ps. that was only one red bell pepper... Huuuge)
